Open Google Chrome on your PC and navigate to:

pixelrepair.withgoogle.com

The tool runs entirely in the browser using WebUSB — no extension or software download is needed.

💡 This tool only works in Google Chrome or Chromium-based browsers. Firefox and Safari do not support WebUSB.

Connect your Pixel device to your PC via USB. On your phone, ensure USB debugging is enabled and set the USB mode to File Transfer (MTP).

Click "Start Repair" on the Pixel Repair Tool page. Chrome will show a popup listing connected USB devices — select your Pixel and click Connect.

Tap Allow on your phone when the USB debugging authorization prompt appears.

The tool will detect your Pixel model and offer repair options:

  • Repair and Keep Data (if available): Attempts to repair system partitions while preserving user data. Not always available depending on device state.
  • Full Repair (Factory Reset): Flashes the complete stock firmware and wipes all user data. Most reliable option for serious issues.
⚠️ The tool automatically downloads the correct official firmware for your specific Pixel model from Google's servers. You do not need to find firmware manually.

The Pixel Repair Tool will download the firmware (this may take several minutes depending on your internet speed — typical size is 1–4 GB).

After downloading, the tool will automatically put your device into bootloader mode and flash all required partitions. A progress bar shows each stage.

⚠️ Keep the USB cable connected and do not close Chrome during the process.

When repair is complete, the tool shows a success message and the device reboots automatically into stock Android.

If you performed a full repair, complete the Android setup wizard and restore data from your Google backup.

Verify the OS version in Settings → About Phone → Android Version.
