How to Install USB Drivers on Windows

Download the driver

Click the Download button for your chipset above. Save the file to a location you can find easily.

Extract if needed

If the file is a ZIP, extract it to a folder. Avoid paths with spaces.

Run as Administrator

Right-click the installer (.exe or setup.exe) and select "Run as administrator". This is required for driver installation to succeed.

Follow the installer

Click through the installation wizard. Accept the license and install to the default location.

Restart your PC

Restart if prompted. Some drivers do not activate until after a reboot.

Connect your device

Connect your phone and open Device Manager (Win + X โ†’ Device Manager) to verify it appears without a yellow warning icon.
